Free adventure play sessions
Open every weekday, all year round, for 6-17 ages everyone is welcome!
The Triangle Adventure Playground creates a child led free-play’ environment, providing an extensive range of activities to support young people's physical, mental and emotional development. Triangle play develops resilience, builds self confidence and provides new opportunities. A safe, exciting, non formal learning environment.
In essence we make children happier, healthier and help them fulfil their potential!
swings & structures
Forever a favourite at Triangle are our large swings and structures. Including tyre, tango and platform swings– not forgetting to mention our zip-wire, giant trampoline and the tree house tower & slide.
tools & building
Building whole huts and more our young people love to use tools. The Triangle play workers are on hand to guide and ensure safety rules are followed as many get their first chance to use hammers, saws and spades.
Some build toy swords, others help the upkeep of Triangle itself, re-enforcing their rightful sense of ownership. Everyone enjoys destructive play such as breaking down wood for our fire pit.
free play
Home to wild overgrown nooks, the Triangle offers endless imaginary play. This is key to developing a sense of adventure and risk taking in a safe environment.
Climbing trees and building dens or role playing a cafe and cooking up mud pies, we encourage all to play with freedom.
trips & opportunities
Triangle provides free trips and special opportunities for the young people.
Our annual Summer beach trip, horse riding at Ebony Horse Club, snowboarding at Snow Camp and countryside camping in Camp Build, to name a few.
sports & group games
A multitude of team games take place at Triangle. Our ethos heavily promotes teamwork at Triangle and many friendships are formed this way.
Everything from football to chase games like Family IT is offered and encouraged, irrespective of age or gender. Triangle is a proud founder member of the local adventure playground football league.
arts & craft
From slime to graffiti murals to hama beads to clay and painting, no artistic medium is off limit!
The young people show their flair and talent for visual creativity and physical dexterity producing a huge range of artworks, craft skills and models.

nature club
Watering our trees, growing our allotment and discovering wildlife, it never stops for our hardest working crew!
