To create a safe, playful and positive environment for our young people to enjoy.
Child led play is our ethos.
Our young people are free to play in any way, encouraged and enabled to do so by our dedicated play workers. Through enjoyable and varied play Triangle aims to help young people improve physical and mental health; learn new skills and gain new experiences; make friends for life and embrace a positive future.
Positive environment
Triangle encourages young people to make choices, understand how to take risks and stay safe. During play sessions they learn to win & lose gracefully and to strive to improve which encourages resilience.
Building long term relationships
Many young people spend 5+ years playing at Triangle, feeling the benefit of our long term holistic support. We aim to build a community, not only the young people but their families too.
In some cases multiple generations of the same family have played at Triangle!
Glorious green space
Inner city life limits access and understanding of nature.
Our thriving Nature Club allows young people to connect with natural surroundings in contrast to the streets they walk through.
Broadening young peoples horizons
Triangle provides regular free cultural, sporting, nature and activity trips, including our annual trip to the seaside and much more.
A free space for everyone
Many children spend all their school holidays with us. For our older users, we offer work placement and employment opportunities. Embedded within our community, Triangle plays a crucial role for Lambeth young people and families.
